How writing simple, free articles can open the "flood gates" to visitors, sales and money on your website
If you’ve been around internet marketing circles for any length of time or you are just starting out on your journey into the fascinating and sometimes annoying world of making money blogging, blogging for dollars or how ever you chose to call it. You’ve no doubt discovered that you have to publish or perish. You have to publish articles and content or you’re dead in the water. How else is anyone ever going to discover what gems you have to offer? Quite often in the marketing forums I have seen the question. “How do I get traffic to my website?” Publish original high quality content, is the most common response. Sounds obvious enough doesn’t it? From the amount of times I’ve seen this question I’m guessing it’s not so obvious.
For the past while I’ve been testing a few things to determine where and why I get traffic. I started out with an article a week. Some will tell you to submit more than that. Two a day and often more. You can increase your exposure by having your articles marketed by other websites, blogs and e-zines around the Internet. Your reward is one-way back links from your resource box, which in theory should also reward you with better search engine rankings. I like to submit manually there are software programs to do all your submissions for you. But hey I’m cheap and like to do it manually. The submission software work well or so I’m told by a few friends. I personally opt for having my articles in the higher trafficked areas. But if you’re looking for backlinks then the article submission software works great. Submit articles
